While some might be wondering "Gee, what exactly has 2nd Grade been up to this month?", the real question is, "What haven't we been up to?" During December our class has been learning about all kinds of animals, both endangered and other wise, and as a result we've been up to our ears in a little bit of everything!
We started the month off learning about Endangered Mammals and creating posters of some that we researched ourselves. Check out Aysia's poster to the left about the "Clouded Leopard"!

Also, we're pretty certain that by now everyone has seen our Leather-Backed Sea Turtle project! These turtles were all over our classroom these past few weeks and have finally found a home on the new bulletin board in the hall outside of the second grade room.
Other creatures we learned about during Reptiles and Amphibians week included crocodiles, frogs, and more. If you look real close on the board, you'll even see some of these creature hiding near our Sea Turtles... Watch out!
To see more of our projects, check out the slide show below!
