Happy Friday everyone! We have a lot to share with you after a fun week of leaf animals, bird feeders, acorn hunts, and other fun arts and crafts projects. Clubs started this Wednesday, and we had a special stations day on the half day.
Tuesday we talked about animals that store acorns for the winter, and and had our very own acorn hunt in the classroom. The second graders really enjoyed searching for acorns, and trying to be the team who survives the winter! After our first round, we had the winning team be the "hiders," and they found some pretty creative hiding places. Take a look at the slideshow to get an idea of what it was like!

We are currently working on some paper mache animals, we'll put up some photos soon!
